Yesterday was a black Monday for me.
Everyone of us dreads bad news and dreads news of death even more. I took a triple whammy yesterday with the news of the death of 3 very close people all of them overseas. Emotionally it was a shock and my mind focused away from normal life briefly.
But how could news like this be a motivation?
It's actually easy when one simply sits back and realises who is in control. God and Jesus Christ play a massive role in my life and consoling myself on the fact that I am not in control just helped.
But death itself is something we should all use to motivate ourselves. Scary but true.
Death is the End. Death is final.
But here's the motivation. What will people say about you once you have gone? Will your life have been worthwhile living? Will you have spent all your time working and ignoring life?
Many of us don't look forward to death. For some it is a blessed release for others it is knowing they are going to be with their maker. But for the vast majority of us it is something we do not think about. I have been thinking about it a lot this past 24 hours or so. Even reading a story to my son about Mummies in Egypt made me think.
What changes can you make in your life to get more from life? Earn More? Work Less? Change my life focus? Change habits?
How many of you are motivated enough to to do any or all of the above?
I am now more motivated than ever before to do all of the above and I can teach you how to ass well. Be Motivated Today and my faith in Jesus combined is a lethal weapon in the fight to live a good even great life. I am now living it...are you?
As we get close to Easter for Christians it is a time where we focus on not death but life. Yes Christ died on a cross but he gave life to us all. I have now taken that and added Be Motivated Today. My life is full and rich and rewarding and those around me had better watch out because your lives will be full, rich and rewarded!
Today is a weird posting. For those who want to find out more please contact me.
