Breaking Eggs to get success

On the road to success and your absolute glory you will soon find you have all the ingredients you need. The trouble is you don’t have, and perhaps never will have a recipe or set of instructions to make your success.  This troubles some people but it should not,  the recipe needed for success is within you and what to do with the ingredients is entirely up to you.

Some of the ingredients you have and how to use them are blatantly obvious, time for example is something you have to manage and manage well, other ingredients such as your own skills and gifts you may have to look at a little more closely, scratch your head and work out how these form part of your success. Imagine giving the ingredients of a cake to someone who didn’t know what an egg is; flour, sugar and butter you gave them in bowls with the correct quantities, but the eggs were whole and unbroken. Mixing in the other ingredients could be easily worked out but the egg, if the person didn’t know what an egg is would prove a challenge. It is known by all of us, or at least I hope it is, that one has to break open the egg before it can be used. Herein lies a secret to your success; an ingredient or element of your glory may need to be broken open before it can be used.

Generally the main ingredient that needs breaking open is the person or something about the person. It’s not something many people enjoy or look forward to but it may mean the small difference between just remaining where you are or becoming amazingly successful. Like a cake, without breaking the eggs it cannot be made the same goes for success; therefore do not be afraid to open yourself up, break yourself a little, to get the success you need. The breaking could be anything, a change of job, a change of routine, giving up something to create time; whatever it is and if success if your goal then don’t be afraid to do it!
